Overview

Shifts Assist compares your Google Calendar shift events with a presence report that you upload. We aim to collect only the information needed to run that comparison and your setup preferences.

Information We Store

We may store basic account and setup information, such as your email address, Google account name, preferred name, optional cellphone number, calendar settings, shift keywords, standby prefix, and time tolerance.

We do not store your uploaded presence report PDF or the extracted report rows after the comparison request is complete.

Google Calendar Access

If you connect Google Calendar, Shifts Assist uses calendar access to read shift events and, if you choose, create a dedicated shifts calendar. Calendar data is used to provide the comparison results inside the app.

Sensitive Data

We do not intentionally save sensitive work reports, uploaded PDF files, or full calendar event histories. Please avoid uploading documents that include information you do not want processed by the app.

Security

Authentication session data is protected using standard application security measures. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we keep stored data limited to what the app needs.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of Shifts Assist after a change means you accept the updated policy.
